Moby Dick/Essex Illustrations

Here are the print versions of two out of four illustrations that I did for Cobblestone Magazine for a story about the relationship between Melville’s writing of Moby Dick and the real incident of the sinking of the whaling ship, the Essex. The first is the opening spread.
